Introduction
The MLRM project complements the groundbreaking "Managing Litigation as a Business" initiative, which shares the same objective of helping corporate law departments provide greater value to their clients by more effectively managing risks, disputes and litigation. The MLRM marshals and centralizes best practices, proven tools and other resources needed to accomplish these goals.
Collaborating on this important project, seasoned in-house litigation managers, outside trial counsel, corporate risk professionals and litigation support providers have identified “Key Elements” critical to managing risk, disputes and litigation in an effective businesslike manner. Dedicated MLRM Development Teams are being formed to flesh out Key Elements to include:
- Detailed Descriptions
- Small Law Department Perspectives
- Implementation Guidelines
- Answers to FAQs
- Practice Pointers
- Supporting Technology & Management Practices, and
- Additional Resources.
